Workshop: The Art of Public speaking in Everyday Life
This workshop promotes awareness of the importance of communication and public speaking in society. Inspired by the approach of Augusto Boal, it focuses on a practical understanding of communication skills.
We designed educational art workshops using proven methods and practices that combine forum theater, visual, physical, and dramatic theater to help participants gain a better understanding and successfully manage public speaking.
Over three days, through interactive workshops, lectures, and practical exercises, you will develop skills that enable you to:
- Communicate your ideas effectively
- Use body language and visuals to your advantage
- Connect with others on a deeper level
- Overcome the fear of public exposure
The workshop took place from October 22 to October 24, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM in the small ceremonial hall at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek. It was funded by the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia.
